The St. Johns County Parks Department will host a special program about the endangered Anastasia Beach Mouse on Sunday, January 12, 2020, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Participants are invited to join Park Naturalist AyoLane Halusky in a walk along the edges of the habitat of the Anastasia Island Beach Mouse, learning how to track this elusive little creature.
The Anastasia Beach mouse is highly endangered due to its reliance on the precarious dune habitat.
