Anastasia Island Beach Mouse Tracking
Learn all about the endangered Anastasia Beach mouse while taking a walk through its natural habitat on the beach.
The St. Johns County Parks Department will host a special program about the endangered Anastasia Beach Mouse on Sunday, January 12, 2020, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Participants are invited to join Park Naturalist AyoLane Halusky in a walk along the edges of the habitat of the Anastasia Island Beach Mouse, learning how to track this elusive little creature.
The Anastasia Beach mouse is highly endangered due to its reliance on the precarious dune habitat.
This event is weather permitting subject to cancellation. Call (904) 209-0348 to confirm.
Admission: Free, but registration is required. Visit here to reserve a spot.
