Ancient City Junior Redfish Bash

The Ancient City Gamefish Association hosts the annual Ancient City Junior Redfish Bash fishing tournament on Friday and Saturday, April 19 and 20, 2024, at the St. Augustine Municipal Marina. This inshore tournament sees anglers competing for prizes in three target fish categories: redfish, trout, and flounder. This event coincides with the Ancient City Redfish Bash.

There is a mandatory Captains' meeting for all anglers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fishing begins at safe light on Saturday with weigh-in from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. After the scores are recorded, awards will be given to the winners, participants with the biggest redfish, trout, or flounder weights. Only one place per angler. All anglers on the boat must be registered.

The Ancient City Redfish Bash is a part of the Ancient City Challenge Tournaments, which also includes the Ancient City Kingfish Challenge, the Ancient City Redfish Bash, and the Ancient City Junior Kingfish Challenge. See all tournament rules for this event.

Admission: Free for spectators. Early registration for anglers is $20.00 per angler. Register online to secure a spot.
