Ancient City Redfish Bash

The Ancient City Gamefish Association hosts the annual Ancient City Redfish Bash fishing tournament on Friday and Saturday, March 21 and 22, 2025, at the St. Augustine Municipal Marina. This inshore tournament sees anglers competing for prizes in three target fish categories: redfish, trout, and flounder.

There is a mandatory Captains' meeting for all anglers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fishing begins at safe light on Saturday with weigh-in from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. After the scores are recorded, awards will be given to the winners, participants with the biggest redfish, trout, or flounder weights. Only one place per angler. All anglers on the boat must be registered.

Awards: 

• 1st Place Redfish: $1,000.00
• 2nd Place Redfish: $500.00
• 3rd Place Redfish: $250.00

Note: Prizes are based off number of anglers and are subject to change.

Admission: Free for spectators. Early registration for anglers is $40.00 per angler. Day of event registration is $50.00 per angler. Register online to secure early registration prices.
