Annual River Blessing
Participate in a river blessing ceremony on the beautiful St. Johns River.
The St. Johns County Parks Department partners with the St. Johns and Matanzas Riverkeepers for the Annual River Blessing at Alpine Groves Park on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at 9:00 a.m.
Gather beside the St. Johns River next to the historic Bennett House to hear a selection of speakers and then participate in the silent, non-denominational ceremony where a bowl of water is passed guided by a heartbeat drum by First Nations.
