The National Park Service hosts several Birding by Boat tours at 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. at the Fort Matanzas National Monument on October 8, 2024. These guided, one-hour cruises offer the chance to observe a variety of bird species, including bald eagles, osprey, roseate spoonbills, and black skimmers, in the scenic waterways around the park. Fort Matanzas is a key stop on the Great Florida Birding Trail and provides vital habitats across beaches, dunes, and marshes.
