St. Augustine Art Assoc: Summer Art Camp

The St. Augustine Art Association hosts Summer Art Camp, offering four sessions, starting on Monday, June 16, and ending on Friday, August 1, 2025. Each session is scheduled from Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to noon. The sessions teach fundamentals in different mediums and mixed media. Each session costs $175.00, which covers supplies.

Camp Sessions:

Shape & Sculpt: June 16 - 20
This camp explores three-dimensional art using air-dry clay. Carve, mold, and shape sculptural designs with various materials—paint, paper, and cardboard—and techniques. This camp is suited for grades one through six.

Designing Drama: June 23 - 27
Participate in the production of the African folk tale, Who's in Rabbit House?, and learn how to design backdrops, masks, and fabric costumes. Those who take part in the visual arts process will also take the stage in a group performance. This camp is ideal for grades one through six.

Patterns, Papers, & Pop-Ups: July 21 - 25
This camp centers on mixed media collages and innovative designs to produce pop-up art. Students learn how to make unique, interactive layered cards and books that come to life on every page. This program is recommended for grades six through nine.

Illuminated Imagination: July 28 - August 1
Change your perspective on your artwork by exploring the use of light and shadows. Dabble in glow-in-the-dark paintings and brightly lit drawings. This camp is ideal for grades one through six.

Admission: Each session costs $175.00, which covers supplies. Students should bring their own snacks and beverages. Register through their website, as space is limited.
