The Friends of Washington Oaks offers a free ranger-led Butterfly Walk on Friday, May 25, 2018, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Park Ranger Joe leads this interpretive hike that highlights the most common species of butterflies are found at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park. Guests are encouraged to bring water and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Events like this butterfly walk are offered by the Friends of Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, a community-based not-for-profit organization whose mission is to preserve, protect, promote, and provide interpretation at Washington Oaks Gardens and Faver-Dykes State Park.

Admission: This guided hike is free with regular park admission: $5 per vehicle with up to 8 people, $4 per single occupancy vehicle, and $2 per pedestrian or person on bicycle. No reservations are required.

Where: Participants should meet at the parking lot at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park, which is located at 6400 N. Oceanshore Blvd. in Palm Coast, FL 32137.
