The "Celebrating the Legacy" FREE exhibit is open for viewing through December 2013.
The public is invited to view a commemorative exhibit celebrating the 125th anniversary of the opening of Henry Flaglers Ponce de Leon Hotel. Come by the exhibit and view the hotel's transformation over the years, from its opening days in 1888 as a luxury resort to now being the home of Flagler College. View original artifacts from Ponce de Leon Hotel and also learn about the building's ongoing involvement in the local community.
The yearlong exhibition also honors the legacy of Henry Flagler's entrepreneurship and community-building. Flagler was a founding partner in Standard Oil with John D. Rockefeller. He launched a resort empire along Florida's east coast with the construction of the Ponce de Leon Hotel. The exhibit is open daily from 8:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. in the rotunda and loggia of Ponce de Leon Hall, (the main building), at Flagler College. Call (904) 819-6400 or visit www.flagler.edu for more information.
