Communication Week at Flagler College

The Flagler College chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America and the Flagler College communication department is sponsoring Communication Week 2013, with the theme for our eighth annual event of "Lights! Camera! COM Week!" We are featuring speakers with a variety of backgrounds and experiences in all areas of communication. Industry professionals will share their knowledge, offering advice for succeeding in the industry, and there will be discussion panels with communication professionals as well as an alumni panel. Award-winning photojournalist, Bruce Strong, the keynote speaker is a multimedia storyteller and associate professor at Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. He is scheduled to speak at 10 a.m. on March 4. Deirdre Breakenridge, president and director of communications at PFS Marketwyse, will speak at 1:00 p.m. on March 4th. Former Flagler College professor and journalist, Rob Armstrong, will speak to students March 6 at 10 a.m. Cathy Jamison, Fox Sports Network television marketing consultant and strategist, will speak on March 7 at 11 a.m The speakers will be in the Gamache-Koger Theater in the Ringhaver Student Center.
