St. Augustine's Lightner Museum presents an evening of dulcimer music on Thursday, August 11, 2016, with a free concert by the Dancing Hammers at 7:00 p.m.

The duo of Robert Burns and Victoria Van Arnam are virtuosos on the hammered dulcimer and delight audiences with their dynamic performances. The hammered dulcimer is over 2,500 years old. It was the predecessor to the piano, and is known for its ethereal sound. This free concert will take place in the museum pool area from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

After the concert, guests can browse the America's Parks exhibition of paintings for the centennial of the National Parks Service, which will be open following the performance.

Admission: Free

When: Thursday, August 11, 2016. Doors to the Museum open at 6:30. The concert is from 7 to 8:30 p.m., and the America's Parks exhibition is open after the concert.
