Anastasia State Park offers an informative bird walk, hosted by a volunteer naturalist, on Sunday, November 16, 2014. The guided walk is open to all birdwatchers, from beginners to experienced veterans.

The tour guide helps participants spot the various species of shore birds, marsh birds, and hammock birds, as they walk down the beach and along the boardwalks and nature trails of Anastasia State Park. Everyone is encouraged to bring binoculars and to dress for the weather, with comfortable walking shoes.

The guided walk begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Island Beach Shop & Grill Pavilion inside the park.  The program is weather-permitting and is free with regular admission fees to the park.

Admission: $8 per vehicle with two to eight occupants; $4 for a single-occupant vehicle, and $2 for bicyclists or walkers.

When? Sunday, November 16, 2014, from 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.

Where? Anastasia State Park is located at 1340 A1A South in St. Augustine.
