EMMA Concert: "Words or Music? Symphonie Fantastique"

The fourth performance of the Emma Concert Words and Music series takes place at the Flagler Room at Flagler College on Tuesday, November 18, 2014, at 7 p.m.

Flutist and musicologist Sarah Provost leads the presentation on the topic, "Words or music? Symphonie Fantastique and the Problem of Program Music." The discussion will focus on Berlioz's famous symphony and the critical response to it.

Sarah Provost is a member of the faculty of the University of North Florida. She has degrees from Brown and Brandeis Universities.
