First Coast Dance Competition

From Wednesday, March 8 thorugh Saturday, March 11, 2023, the Renaissance Resort at World Golf Village presents the opportunity for spectators to enjoy the glamour, rhythm, complicated steps, and bright costumes exhibited the during the First Coast Classic Professional Dance Competition.

Throughout the three days of sessions and competions, the audience can enjoy watching skilled dancing pairs, waltz, tango, cha-cha, and swing. Competitors include every level of experiece and all ages. Spectators are invited to attend any of the sessions, from daytime sessions during which dance teachers give their best students the opportunity to show their skills, to the formal-wear/black-tie Saturday Evening session, featuring World Masters Pro/Am competitions.

All competitors for the daytime sessions, and for the evening session on Thursday, include dance students and instructors. During the evening sessions, from 7:30 - 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, the compeitors are professionals from around the world, all of whom will be perform at a high level of skill. Dance categories are American Rhythm, Smooth, and Showdance competions.

Tickets range from $25.00 for riser seats or standing toom dring the Thursday, Friday and Saturday daytine sessions from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (dress casual and business casual attire), to $60.00 for a reserved floor seat at the Saturday Evening session. (Black tie and formal wear, required.) In addition, spectators may opt to add meals and reserved seatin for any of the sessions, and for tickets for the Grand Banquet and VIP Party on Saturday, making the top ticket price $325.00 per person.

The evening shows on Thursday and Friday also offer reserved seating only or tickets that include a dinner, with prices of $50.00 and $120.00 on Thursday, and of $55.00 and $130.00 on Friday.

Admission: Prices range from $25.00 for riser seating during the day, to $325.00 for reserved seating at the Saturday evening session, including the banquet and the VIP after party.
