The annual Historic Lincolnville Festival will be held from Friday through Sunday, November 8 through 10, 2024. This three-day festival celebrates St. Augustine's Lincolnville community and its history and cultural significance.

The festival starts on Friday, November 8, from 7:00 to 11:00 p.m. with a Jazz/Veterans Night at the Willie Galimore Center, 399 Riberia Street. The band "Double A," featuring Al Johnson and Anthony Williams, headline Friday night's performance. Saxophonist Doug Carn will play during their breaks.

On Saturday, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m., in Eddie Vickers Park, the festival hosts a Children's Village with storytelling, a game truck, food, and fun.

Also on Saturday, at the same location, the festival presents live music, vendor booths, food trucks, and a fried fish dinner, with the festivities continuing until 10:00 p.m. The music begins at 2:00 p.m. and the fried fish dinner starts at 5:00 p.m. and goes until the food runs out. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs.

Saturday's music is provided by local young musicians from noon to 2:00 p.m.

These musicians will perform from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m.:

  • Cellus with Vibe Live Band (Headliner)
  • Heart of Elaine
  • Soulful Roots
  • Datz Pressure

On Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the First Baptist Church hosts a Sunday social with Danish, coffee, cocoa, and Jazz Gospel. The afternoon continues with Gospel in the Park from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m.

The historic festival started in 1979 on Labor Day weekend. Originally called the Washington Street Festival, the Lincolnville Festival celebrates the Lincolnville neighborhood, its history, and the people who live there. The festival is presented by the Lincolnville Historic Preservation and Restoration Society, which strives to stimulate preservation and community activism in the Lincolnville Historic District while maintaining the integrity of its structures and history.
