First Coast Opera will recreate an evening of dinner and music that first occurred 235 years ago, when two short comedies were presented by Austria's Emperor Joseph II. One work was composed by W. A. Mozart and the other by Antonio Salieri. On that night, the guests were invited to a dinner before the performances.

On February 12 and 13, 2021 the evening will begin at 6:00 p.m. with a catered buffet from Carrabba's Italian Grill. The performance is a co-production with the Alabama School of the Arts whose artists will perform "The Impressario," by W.A. Mozart and "Prima la musica, poi le parole," by Antoino Salieri. Both works will be performed in English translations.

Tickets will be sold by the table with four to six at each table. Patrons are encourage to form a group prior to purchasing tickets. Social distancing protocols will be in place for both the artists and the audience.

Admission: Dinner and concert at $75.00 per person. A limited number of enhanced tickets are available at$125.00 per person. These will include hor d'oeuvres, champagne, and the opportunity to meet FCO's Artistic Director, Curtis Tucker.
