The St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with the VA, invites military veterans and their families to the Tacklebox Lingo Workshop at the Usina Boat Ramp on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

This interactive session is perfect for veterans of all abilities, and their families, to learn essential fishing terminology, skills, and techniques in a supportive and welcoming environment. Participants gain hands-on experience with fishing tools and gear, guided by knowledgeable staff.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own equipment, but gear can be provided if needed.

All participants must possess a valid shore saltwater fishing license or meet the exemption criteria as outlined by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC).

Admission: Free. Register online to secure a spot in this event.
