The Goo Goo Dolls at St. Augustine Amphitheatre

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre presents the multi-platinum, award-winning group, the Goo Goo Dolls, on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.

The Goo Goo Dolls, featuring Robby Takac on vocals, bass, and guitar, and John Rzeznik on vocals, guitar, and keyboards, are an iconic band celebrated for their smash hit "Iris." Formed in the 1980s in New York, the band began as a cover act before crafting their signature sound, blending alternative rock, punk, and post-grunge influences.

While "Iris" dominated the Billboard charts, other hits like "Slide," "Black Balloon," "Better Days," and "Give A Little Bit" have also earned widespread acclaim. With more than 15 million records sold and four Grammy nominations, The Goo Goo Dolls have solidified their place in music history. Their accolades include honors from the Billboard Music Awards, MTV Music Awards, Teen Choice Awards, ASCAP Pop Awards, Radio Music Awards, and the Songwriters Hall of Fame, where John Rzeznik was individually recognized, as well as the Guitar Center Rock Hall of Fame.

The Goo Goo Doll's discography includes Jed, Hold Me Up, Superstar Car Wash, A Boy Named Goo, Dizzy Up The Girl, Gutterflower, Let Love In, Something for the Rest of Us, Magnetic, Boxes, Miracle Pill, It's Christmas All Over, and Chaos in Bloom.

Admission: Ticket prices range from $39.50 to $129.50. Tickets can be purchased online or at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Box Office, open on Thursdays and Fridays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Parking Information: Free parking will be available onsite. For events not produced by the St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, parking fees will be at the discretion of the event producer.

Parking Information: The Amp St. Augustine is located on Anastasia Island next to Anastasia State Park. Limited paid parking is available in The Amp's Main Lot, but only with advance purchase of a Premium Parking ticket. Free satellite parking areas are located within one mile of the Amphitheatre, at R.B. Hunt Elementary, and at Anastasia State Park (see map below).

Shuttle Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre shuttle system begins its run 45 minutes before show time. The shuttle will pick up event patrons at four designated stops: the R.B. Hunt Elementary School Soccer Field, the west entrance of the Anastasia State Park Main Parking Lot, the Loop at the Anastasia State Park, and the entrance of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Shuttles will run continuously until approximately 45 minutes after the scheduled start time of a concert. For anyone wanting to leave prior to the end of a show, shuttles will begin taking people back to the satellite parking areas one hour before the event is over. The driver will not depart The Amp until the shuttle is more than 50% full.
