Haunted Barn 2018

Rype & Readi Downtown Farm Market challenges you to brave their annual Haunted Barn on Friday and Saturday nights from October 5 to 28, 2018. This event is a popular group activity that also benefits several local charities. Admission is $5.00 plus two cans of food.

The Colee Stables at Rype & Readi's Downtown Market is a pretty spooky place, with the kind of history that is bound to attract ghosts! Rype & Readi recommends a minimum age of 13 to enter the Haunted Barn, and also advises that there will be strobes, flashing lights, and jump scares. None of the spooks will grab or touch guests, and they appreciate the same courtesy extended to them.

Groups of 10 or less will be admitted into the house at a time. Kids 12 and under should plan to come on one of the nights that offer a "not so scary" experience (Friday, October 19, and Sunday, October 28, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.) and must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older. The kids version will be a trick-or-treat experience full of laughs and good things to eat.

Hot dogs, bratwurst, BBQ smoked chicken, ice cream shakes, and lot of other food will be available for purchase at the event.

Proceeds will benefit local charities, including Shepard's Haven of Hastings, Betty Griffin House, Catholic Charities, and Emergency Services of St. Johns County.

When: From 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. on October 5, 6, 12, 13, 20, 26, and 27, 2018.  The kid-friendly version will take place from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Friday, October 19, and Sunday, October 28, 2018.
