The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall presents indie folk superstars the Indigo Girls live in concert at 8 p.m. Sunday, March 27, 2022.
The Grammy Award-winning duo Amy Ray and Emily Saliers have been playing their indie folk music for the past 20 years, with their first eponymous album released back in 1988. In 1990, the Indigo Girls won a Grammy award for Best Contemporary Folk Album. They have toured with numerous renowned acts including Neil Young, Sarah MacLachlan, Mary Chapin Carpenter and R.E.M.
On their 16th studio album, the Indigo Girls tell their origin story. Look Long is a stirring and eclectic collection of songs that finds the duo reunited in the studio — with their strongest backing band to date — as they chronicle their personal upbringings with more specificity and focus than they have on any previous song-cycle.
Over a 35-year career that began in clubs around their native Atlanta, Georgia, the Indigo Girls have recorded 16 studio albums (seven gold, four platinum and one double platinum), sold over 15 million records and built a dedicated, enduring following.
