From Friday, December 6 through Sunday, December 15, 2024, visitors and locals can enjoy viewing the Festival of Trees at various locations in the St. Augustine area.

The holiday wreath silent auction will take place at Limelight Theatre from December 6 to December 15. View these wreaths during the theatre's office hours and the Christmas Cabaret seasonal production. 

On December 7 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., the Friends of the Saint Augustine Amphitheatre (FOSAA) will host a special event including a Home Alone movie screening, face painting, snow, Santa meet-and-greet, and a hot cocoa station. The trees and wreaths up for auction will also be displayed on the Front Porch, along with a holiday food drive.

Entry is free at all locations where many charmingly decorated Christmas trees and holiday wreaths created by local groups are featured. Those who attend may bid on their favorites, with all funds raised going to the St. Francis House and Port in the Storm.

Founded in 1984 to help feed the hungry, the St. Augustine Society moved to Washington Street in 1985 and began offering services at St. Francis House. Their mission has expanded to include shelters for men and women, SOS Street Outreach for adults and youth, and Port in the Storm services for homeless and unaccompanied youth. Today, the St. Augustine Society helps improve lives for unhoused youth, families, and adults.
