The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center will host a series of jazz concerts at 7:30 p.m.. on select Friday nights from January 14, to April 29, 2022.
The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center was formerly the historic Excelsior High School, the first public high school for African-Americans in St. Augustine. Lincolnville Jazz at the Excelsior will feature a number of highly regarded and talented artists, including Jacksonville native jazz and blues favorite Mama Blue, the live jazz fusion band Eric Carter & Company, the instrumental group Catch the Groove and the classically trained jazz and soul vocalist Akia Uwanda.
All the concerts take place on a Friday and begin at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m.
