"Martin's Big Words: The Life of Martin Luther King, Jr" will be performed on Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lincolnville Museum. 

Presented by the San Marco Chamber Music Society, this production is a creative interpretation of Doreen Rappaport's children's book, which includes a presentation and an ensemble of instrumental performers.

Parallels between Martin Luther King Jr's youth and the legacy that he created as a leader, activist, and minister are revealed during the event.

Celebrated composer Kevin Day created the original score. Day is Assistant Professor of Composition at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario, Canadaknown and a celebrated international musician.
