The St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department and Environmental Division team up to present a Moonlight Beach Walk on St. Augustine Beach on two upcoming Thursdays: June 9 and 23, 2016, at 8:00 p.m. Participants will explore the beach by moonlight and learn about the wildlife and animals that utilize the beach after nightfall.
Attendees should wear comfortable shoes and bring flashlights (red film will be provided for use with flashlights so the light will not disturb nesting or hatching sea turtles).
Admission: FREE
When: 8:00 p.m. on two upcoming Thursdays: June 9 and 23, 2016.
Where: The walk will begin at the St. Johns County Ocean Pier, located at 350 A1A Beach Blvd in St. Augustine FL 32080.
