Murabella Kids Triathlon
Children ages 6 to 14 compete in a chip-timed triathlon.
The Murabella Kids Triathlon will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at the Murabella Amenity Center. The chip-timed triathlon includes races in swimming, biking, and running. The distances for each race will be based on the child's age bracket. Children are required to supply their bikes and to wear helmets. No training wheels are allowed.
Participants will receive a racing bib, race shirt, medal, and a photograph of the event. The event is broken down based on age groups:
- Ages 6 to 8: Swim 50 yards in the pool, bike approximately .75 miles, and run approximately .35 miles.
- Ages 9 to 11: Swim 100 yards in the pool, bike approximately .75 miles, and run approximately .65 miles.
- Ages 12 to 14: Swim 160 yards in the pool, bike approximately .75 miles, and run approximately 1 mile.
Admission: Tickets cost $45.00. Register for this event online.
When: The races begin at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 4, 2024.
