The St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department hosts a guided kayak tour of the marshes of the Tolomato River on Thursday, January 16, 2025, and Saturday, January 18, 2025. Both events take place at the Nocatee Landing kayak launch, starting at 10:00 a.m. and concluding at 1:00 p.m.
Led by county naturalists, the tours explore the estuaries of the Intracoastal. Participants paddle through marshes while learning about the area's wildlife and taking in views of Florida's natural beauty. Open to ages five and older, this event is ideal for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of life and take a moment to enjoy nature.
