The Tasting Tours presents a special Oktoberfest Beer Tours for the month of October in St. Augustine. Guests can sample pints at several of the city's best brewpubs, while they celebrate the traditional Bavarian festival of Oktoberfest.
Matt Hopcraft, the local authority on everything beer, hosts the tour, introducing guests to St. Augustine's thriving craft beer community (not surprising when you consider that this ancient city is named after St. Augustine of Hippo, who is the patron saint of beer).
The tour features three to four Oktoberfest-themed beers anda visit to one of the city's best brewpubs, where guests can sample special fall craft beers. Guests will learn all about how beer is made, how it should be served, and how to taste the differences between beers.
Admission: $49 per person (Gratuities for your tour host are not included)
When? 5:15 pm every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from October 2 - November 1, 2014.
Where? Tour departs from the statue of Ponce de Leon at the Plaza de la Constitucion in downtown St. Augustine.
