A Tribute to Billie Holiday
Carole Freeman becomes Billie Holiday in this tribute to the great jazz singer.
The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center presents "One Enchanted Evening: A Tribute to Billie Holiday," featuring Carole Freeman as the great jazz singer, on Saturday, August 12, 2017.
"Carole Freeman allows nothing to stand between her and her listeners," according to the organizers of this haunting tribute. Her stellar performance compels the audience to feel and hear the "tragic opera that was Billie Holiday's life."
The tribute performance will include Stan Jackson on piano, Jay Brown on drums, Paul Grant on saxophone, and Jacob Schuman on bass.
Admission: $15 per person.
