The Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park will host a Pet Adoption Day on Saturday, January 17, 2015, from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Local adoption/rescue organizations Wags & Whiskers and S.A.F.E. will be on the property with selected dogs and cats looking for homes.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. through 4 p.m. Normal park admission will apply -- but anyone who does adopt a pet will receive a full refund on the admission they paid. Dog and cat lovers can find the newest member of their families while they enjoy the beautiful surroundings and historical displays and demonstrations at the Fountain of Youth.
Admission: Regular admission to the Fountain of Youth is $15 for adults, $14 for seniors (60+), $9 for children ages 6-12, and toddlers 5 and under are free. Anyone who adopts a pet on Pet Adoption Day will receive a full refund of their admission price.
When? Saturday, January 17, 2015, from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. The Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park is open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Where? The Fountain of Youth is located at 11 Magnolia Avenue, just north of St. Augustine's historic district.
