The St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum will host a series of summer courtyard events featuring local artisans and craftsmen.
On Saturday, July 8, 2017, maritime artist and treasure hunter Mike Casalino will be on site to showcase his paintings. Mike Casalino has a 40 year history of shipwreck diving, and his experiences at sea influence his artwork. His paintings depict maritime themes, and each tells a story.
On Saturday, July 15, 2017, two artisans will be featured: Jim Brock and Captain Carl. Jim Brock is an instrument maker, known for his handcrafted wooden flutes, pan pipes, and didgeridoos. Captain Carl will showcase his handcrafted coin jewelry.
These events are open to the public, and regular admission to the Pirate & Treasure Museum is not required to attend the summer courtyard events.
