As part of St. Augustine's 450th and Florida's 500th anniversary celebration the Historic Florida Militia will present the Ponce de Leon Celebration, La Fiesta de la Florida today featuring re-enactors, Latin food, historic military demonstrations, folkloric dancers and entertainment throughout the Saint George St. area ending at 6:30 p.m. The entertainment schedule: 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m - Folklore dancers, Don Juan Ponce de Leon re-enactors and Miss Ponce de Leon in the Spanish Gardens on Saint George St., across from Columbia Restaurant; 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. - "Flamenco Taste" includes re-enactors and Hispanic folklore dancers at City Gate, north of Saint George St.; 12:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. - Pirate Fiesta at Ribera House on Saint George St.; 4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. - Live music at the Spanish Bakery, 42 1/2 Saint George St.; 5:30 p.m.-6:30 p.m. - Grand Finale includes gun and cannons fired by the Historic Florida Militia, next to Huguenot Cemetery, 8 South Castillo Dr.
