On Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., five members of the Florida Storytelling Troupe will relate stories about Florida and some of the true Florida Men and Women who shaped this state. Held on the lawn of the Ximenez-Fatio House, this event is offered at no charge as part of Romanza Festivale.
Storytellers Rose van der Berg, Kathy Kniery, Kathy Duffy, and David Fussell will inspire, educate, and tickle the audience while relating stories about real Floridians.

- Kathy Duffy, a retired librarian, has traveled the coutry to tell tales at various festivals. For this event, she will relate stores about Queen Isabella.
- David Fussell, brings to life the tale of the Old Wooden Rocker and the Florida farm woman who rocked her family in that chair.
- Margaret Kaler, brings stories about St. Augustine's history to life for those who listen in the present day.
