Romanza Presents ...

On Tuesday, May 6, at 7:30 p.m., the Romanza Festivale presents Lisa Lockhart and Friends. The sixth consecutive program Lisa has produced and directed for Romanza is titled Lead with Love, Songs of Peace, Love, and Freedom. Several Florida singers join Lisa in a show that includes the call and response song, "Lead with Love," and "What the World Needs Now is Love," "A Seder for Peace", and the "Prayer of St. Francis."

Lisa has performed in musical theatre, opera, and on concert stages in Europe and across the U.S. She has a degree from the Boston Conservatory of Music, has a vocal studio in St. Augustine, and is an adjunct vocal instructor at Florida State College in Jacksonville. She has served as music director for the Limelight Theatre and is often invited to produce and direct musical productions. 

Lisa will be joined by baritone Dirk Gavin McCoy, who performs frequently in Northeast Florida for both First Coast Opera and Amelia Island Opera. Adrian Worsley, baritone and pianist; Tamara Law, Susan Nowell, Carol Pearson-Stocchi, Israeli Rodriguez, Francis Ryan, and Bryce Smith also perform in the show.

Where: The St. Augustine Water Works is located at 184 San Marco Avenue in uptown St. Augustine, Florida 32084.

While the address is 184 San Marco Avenue, the only driveway on San Marco is Exit Only. Access to the Waterworks is through the St. Augustine Main Library parking lot. (Use 1960 North Ponce de Leon in your GPS.)

This event is part of the annual two-week Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts, showcasing historical, cultural, and creative events celebrating all things St. Augustine. From May 2 - 18, 2025, the nation's oldest city will be jam-packed with music and dance concerts, living history events, historical tours, live theater, and art exhibits.
