The St. Augustine Film Society presents a Japanese screening of the inspirational family drama, Like Father, Like Son (2013) on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Temple Bet Yam.

Written and directed by the acclaimed Hirokazu Koreeda, this film highlights the idea of nature versus nurture. When the father, Ryota, and his wife, Midori, get a phone call from the hospital explaining that they accidentally gave them the wrong baby, their whole lives are turned upside down. Their now six-year-old son has been raised and loved by parents who are not blood-related. Once they contact the family who has their biological son, it forces both families to navigate parenthood, love, and happiness.

Admission: $10.00 for the public. Students and St. Augustine Film Society members are free.

When: Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Where: Temple Bet Yam is at 2055 Wildwood Drive in St. Augustine, Florida 32086.
