The Tale Tellers St. Augustine presents Chris Kastle on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at the St. Augustine Waterworks.

Chris Kastle is a storyteller, songwriter, and poet who has sung in Irish pubs. Her stories and songs will transport you to the Emerald Isle, and her personal stories of her "Pub Days." No Irish pub-like experience is complete without music, and Chris promises to sing a few tunes that will get any Irish lass or laddie joining in the chorus.

As a singer/songwriter and storyteller, Chris has performed throughout the United States and in Canada, Poland, and New Zealand. The Florida Storytelling Association awarded her the Annette J. Bruce Lifetime Achievement Award, and her song, "El Faro," written in memory of that ship's crew, has been well-viewed on YouTube. Her stories and songs contain powerful imagery, and many are infused with the flavor of Maritime and Celtic traditions. Chris has many children's songs and is a frequent guest in area schools.

The Tale Tellers of St. Augustine was formed in 1993 by storytelling enthusiasts. Their mission is to pass on, and enhance, the art of storytelling. With more than 30 members, this group seeks to revive storytelling as an art form and social means of communication through their many showcases.
