Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway

Traditional bluegrass with a blend of folk, Americana, and a touch of jazz.

Forget dusty old stereotypes! Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway bring new life to bluegrass. This trailblazing group comprises vocalist and guitarist Molly Tuttle, mandolinist Dominick Leslie, banjoist Kyle Tuttle, fiddle player Bronwyn Keith-Hynes, and bassist Shelby Means. The group pushes the boundaries of traditional bluegrass by incorporating elements of folk, Americana, and even hints of jazz. This can be heard in their use of unexpected chord changes and syncopated rhythms.

They create a classic sound with modern twists for good measure. The band's blended vocals, over Molly's warm and earthy voice, create classic bluegrass harmonies, and their lyrics tackle a range of topics, from modern issues like marijuana legalization ("Down Home Dispensary") to timeless themes like love and loss ("Crooked Tree"). Their catchy tunes and relatable stories, make them a must-listen for both longtime bluegrass fans and newcomers to the genre.

Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway bring their love of bluegrass to St. Augustine in September 2024, at the Sing Out Loud Festival. They'll join a talented lineup at the Sing Out Loud Festival, featuring artists Noah Kahan, Norah Jones, and Eric Church.
