First, there's Jeff Picker, a bassist, composer, electric bass guitarist, and band leader. From Nashville, Jeff was a member of Kentucky Thunder, Ricky Skaggs’ band for five years. Now he tours with Nickle Creek, composes, and is a highly sought-after bassist for shows and studio recordings. When he has time, he performs as a member of the house band at the Grand Ole Opry, so the list of legends he has accompanied is long and awe-inspiring.

Despite what the name may imply, the four Diver sisters of the Screaming Orphans had a lovely childhood in County Donegal, Ireland, and often talk about how wonderful their parents were. They formed the band in their teens and when asked years later why they had named the band, “Screaming Orphans,” lead singer and drummer Joan, replied, “Why not?”

Shawn is an outstanding multi-instrumentalist (fiddle, guitar, mandolin) with strong vocal skills, and he quickly found jobs playing in backing bands of several national acts. Since then his career has included songwriting, solo performances, recording producing, and performing as a member of several groups. His music has been considered to be of the country, bluegrass, and Americana genres.
