The University of Florida Health St. Johns Foundation hosts the Foundation 5000 5K race on Saturday, January 11, 2025, near Flagler Hospital in South St. Augustine. The race kicks off at 8:00 a.m. and supports the Foundation’s efforts to provide medical assistance to vulnerable populations within our community.

Participants are encouraged to run or walk in the race in celebration of a stronger, healthier community. Previous races have raised money for a mobile health clinic to serve the community and improve healthcare access to St. Johns County residents.

Faithfuls Servan Missions (FSM) hosts the annual Run with a Mission race on Saturday, February 22, 2025, beginning at 8:00 a.m. 

This year's race takes place in Nocatee, starting near the splash water park. Participants can choose between a 5K, 10K, or a 1-mile fun run, each running through community streets and the scenic Nocatee Greenway Trails.

The Atlantic Fury, a 65-foot sailing catamaran, sets sail along the inland waterway from Beaches Marina in Vilano. This large, open catamaran can hold 100 passengers and offers great views for everyone aboard, whether you sit in the open cabin or wander on the large deck.

Fury Water Adventures sails twice daily: in the afternoon for their Dolphin Watch and Historical Harbor Sail and again just before sunset for their Live Music and Sunset Sail. Atlantic Fury is also available for private charters.
