Hooked Up Fishing offers inshore, light tackle, and backcountry fly fishing for visitors near Vilano Beach. Captain Charlie is a Florida native with more than 30 years of experience fishing and navigating the rivers/wetlands and was a professional fishing tournament angler. He is also U.S. Coast Guard licensed and insured.
Captain Charlie uses a Maverick HPX 18, a specially designed skiff made for inshore fishing. The boat is ideal for getting to the secluded, inland fishing spots that many other boats cannot venture out to. Excursions take place in and around Guana State Park where the scenic waters are home to speckled trout, redfish, flounder, black drum, and tarpon. Due to the boat size, there is a three-person maximum.
Hooked Up Fishing also provides stake-out (anchor up), trolling, and sight fishing.
