Ketterlinus Gym Community Center offers youth basketball clinics and after-school programs — a combination of homework help and recreational activities — to the surrounding community. Men's, women's, and co-ed volleyball opportunities are also available.
History of Ketterlinus Gym
William Warden, Ripley's Believe It or Not! Museum's builder, had a daughter, Elizabeth B. Ketterlinus, who donated the gym's land to the St. Johns County School Board. Ketterlinus High School opened in 1924 and after several changes, it became an elementary school in the 1990s with the gym still across the street.
