Vilano Beachfront Park provides access to surf and sun along the Atlantic coast. A stage is on-site for entertainment and community meeting purposes.
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) playscape, parking, and walkover are also easily accessible for visitors.
History of Beachfront Park
The Vilano Beach Casino, built in 1926, initially stood at the park site. With exquisite architecture, a swimming pool, and fine dining opportunities, the oceanfront casino was unique on its own. However, during the Great Depression and the storms of 1938 and 1939, the structure washed away into the sea putting future plans to a halt.
A recreation area was finally built in 2004 on the original grounds, and renovations were made in 2024. It's now where tourists and locals enjoy the beach and its various amenities.
