The University of Florida's P. K. Yonge Library presents "An Afternoon and Evening with the Paintings from the Vickers Collection" at the Governor's House Cultural Center & Museum on Thursday, March 21, 2024. This free event includes a tour from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., followed by an evening lecture from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Dulce Román, Chief Curator and Curator of Modern Art at the Harn Museum of Art, will guide the afternoon tour of the "Painting St. Augustine: Selections from the Samuel H. and Roberta T. Vickers Collection" exhibit. The exhibit features works from the late 19th to mid-20th centuries, depicting St. Augustine's landscapes, landmarks, and daily life, donated by Samuel H. and Roberta T. Vickers from their extensive collection of Florida-themed art.
