Beach Shuttles for July 4th Weekend
Free shuttles make it easier to park and ride to two beaches from July 1 to July 4.
Beach Shuttles for July 4th Weekend
For Vilano Beach and St. Augustine Beach
To make it easier to get to the beach during the Fourth of July weekend, there will be a free shuttle service to two of the area's most popular beaches between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., from July 1 through July 4, 2023.
Looking for shuttles to the fireworks? Go here.
On Vilano Beach, shuttles will run between Cornerstone Park, at 1036 A1A N, and Mickler's Landing Beachfront Park.
In St. Augustine Beach, shuttles will run between St. Augustine Beach City Hall, at 2200 A1A S, and the St. Johns County Ocean and Fishing Pier parking lot.
For more information, go here to the county's website.
The free shuttles are a service of St. Johns County and the Tourism Development Council.
Tidal Flooding and Beach Access
The tide cycle will cause some tidal flooding. As a result, vehicular beach access ramps may experience short, necessary closures during the holiday weekend and the following week.
Porpoise Point will be open to vehicular beach access during normal hours, from 8:00 a.m. through 7:30 p.m. However, due to the expected high tide on the fourth, Porpoise Point will not remain open for viewing the fireworks show on Tuesday, July 4, 2023.
