The EMMA Concert Association presents Canada's Ballet Jörgen in a performance of Sleeping Beauty on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at 7:30 p.m. in Lewis Auditorium.
Ballet Jörgen is well known for its innovative repertoire, which is comprised exclusively of original works. For almost 30 years, the Canadian ballet company has been devoted to making ballet relevant and accessible, and the resulting international recognition has brought them to the forefront of the North American dance scene. The Ballet now gives over 120 performances a year at venues that range from rural to urban and inner-city communities.
Ballet Jörgen brings their own unique blend of beauty, warmth, and humor to the classical ballet Sleeping Beauty. With new and original choreography, the enchanting story of Aurora and her prince is brought to life on stage.
Admission: $40 for general admission. Students with ID are $5.00. Tickets may be purchased online by visiting here.
