The St. Johns Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve hosts a Fall Flower Festival to celebrate the flowers that are still in bloom before the weather turns.
While Jack Frost rarely pokes his icy nose into Northeast Florida, many of the flowers in the garden do rest over the winter. Celebrate their beauty and enjoy live music, face painting, food from area food trucks, and the Wild Wonders Animal Show. The gardens are open all day, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The special events take place from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. — Wild Wonders Animal Show This engaging and entertaining show introduces the audience to mammals, amphibians, and reptiles found in Northeast Florida.
- 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. — Face Painting
- 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. — Food Truck for lunch and an Ice Cream Truck for dessert
- 12:00 - 3:00 p.m. — Palomino Blonde, a singer who sings on horseback
- 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. — Walk among the palms, flowering plants, and nature preserve.
Admission: Normal entry fees apply. $15.00 for adults, $10.00 for seniors, $8.00 for youth (8 - 17), free for those under 8 and for annual members.
When: Sunday, November 12, from 9:00 to 3:00 p.m. (The garden will remain open until 5:00 p.m.)

A Note on Getting There: It's helpful to use the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Google Maps because the gardens are next to the Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
