The Guy Harvey Resort in St. Augustine will host a surf fishing workshop on select Sundays from March through November 2024. Surf fishing pro, Noel Kuhn, leads each class. A Jacksonville native, Noel continues to win fishing tournaments and is often invited to speak at fishing clubs.

The workshops cover surf fishing basics and offer special tips and techniques: the best times to fish, how to read surf, how to use baits, ways to rig for success, and long-distance casting techniques to reach up to 600 feet and more. Classes are limited to 10 students.

Class location is based on the changing bite patterns—classes in September and October will be held at South Ponte Vedra Beach

The fee includes the use of fishing poles and tackle. Students should bring notepads, cameras, sunscreen, hats, sunglasses, coolers, water, and a fishing license. Those without a fishing license can obtain one here.

Admission: Tickets are $70.00 per person. Go here to register for a class.

When: Sundays, September 15 and October 6, from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m.
