Old City Elite Kingfish Tournament

The Northeast Florida Marlin Club hosts the Old City Elite Kingfish Tournament at the Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor from Thursday, June 5 to Sunday, June 8, 2025.

The event begins on Thursday at The Boat House, with a Captains' Meeting and Kick-Off at 6:00 p.m.

The tournament headquarters will be at the Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor. There will be two days of offshore fishing on Friday and Saturday, with a Safe Light Shotgun Start each morning. Weigh-ins are scheduled from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. each day at the Northeast Florida Marlin Association. A grab-and-go boxed dinner, provided by Zaxby’s, will be available on Friday after the weigh-in. The tournament concludes with an awards celebration on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. at The Boat House.

The Old City Elite Kingfish Tournament features main prize categories and several tournament-within-tournament option prizes. Prize Structure (Based on 40 Boats):

  • 1st Place: $100,000.00
  • 2nd Place: $40,000.00
  • 3rd Place: $15,000.00
  • 4th Place: $5,000.00
  • Overall Big Fish: $10,000.00
  • Daily Aggregate: $5,000.00 each day
• Tournament-within-Tournament (TWT) Option Prizes
  • Day 1 TWT Heaviest Fish: Winner takes all – $40,000.00
  • Day 2 TWT Heaviest Fish: Winner takes all – $40,000.00
• Overall 2-Fish Aggregate TWT:
  • 1st Place – 50%: $20,000.00
  • 2nd Place – 30%: $12,000.00
  • 3rd Place – 20%: $8,000.00
• Overall 4-Fish Aggregate TWT:
  • 1st Place – 50%: $20,000.00
  • 2nd Place – 30%: $12,000.00
  • 3rd Place – 20%: $8,000.00
• Elite 10 4-Fish Aggregate TWT:
  • 1st Place – 70%: $14,000.00
  • 2nd Place – 30%: $6,000.00

This tournament is open to the public and is also part of the Northeast Florida Marlin Association's Tournament Series Championship, which is exclusive to NEFMA members.

Registration: Register online for $5,000.00; a deposit of $2,500.00 secures a spot in the tournament—the full entry fee must be paid by May 31, 2025

Where: The Captains' meeting and Kick-Off event is at The Boat House, located at 160 Nix Boat Yard Road. The rest of the event takes place from the Northeast Florida Marlin Association's location at 3030 Harbor Drive in the Camachee Cove Yacht Harbor.
