Sunset Paddle
Take a paddle along Anastasia State Park's Salt Run and learn all about the flora and fauna of the estuary.
Anastasia State Park and Anastasia Watersports will host a Sunset Paddle on Salt Run on three Saturdays in April: from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. on April 6 and 13, and from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on April 20, 2019.
The estuarine marsh at Anastasia State Park is ripe with plant and animal life. This interpretive tour allows guests to enjoy the rich sunset while keeping an eye out for wildlife. Multiple watercraft options include single kayaks, tandem kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards.
Admission: The program (including boat rental) is $35.00 for adults and $25.00 for children ages 6 to 16. The program is $20.00 for those who provide their own boat. Park admission rates also still apply: $8.00 per vehicle (limit 8 people), $4.00 per single-occupant vehicle, and $2.00 for pedestrians, bicyclists, and extra passengers.
