David Borné

Presenting an album reflecting his healing path after an interlude of self-discovery.

In his usual fluent way with words, Borné is circumspect in saying that he had been "a drunken promiscuate" until he left partying and "found a new brain." Hence, Genesis, David Borné's new full-length album that reflects his path to healing. In the album's hopeful excursion praising life's positives, Borné finds that love is all around us, and that the answers have "been with you all along."

The four members of Floorbird, outside in a city park

Floorbird

This band from Philadelphia started in 2020 and has grown a signficant following.

Floorbird formed during the 2020 pandemic, creating their debut EP, Fall Apart Anywhere, from start to finish -- writing the songs, recording, producing, and shooting the videos, handling all of the creative process.

Categorized as Emo, their sound is a combination of contemplative lyrics, strong and lush arrangements, and no-holds-barred performances. From Philadelphia, the band’s second EP, If You’re Still Around, is more pop-driven and electrifying, but still with their emo roots.
