The Romanza Festivale presents the Voices of Jacksonville in concert on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m., at the Ancient City Baptist Church, at 27 Sevilla Street.

This adult professional ensemble is an offshoot of the Jacksonville Children's Chorus (JCC). Both groups strive to increase awareness and appreciation of choral music.

Written and directed by Régis Roinsard, this French love story follows an aspiring secretary named Rose, and an insurance man, Louis. Set in the 1950s, both characters develop feelings and a competitive spirit toward each other as they train for a speed-typing contest.

The Ultimate Rush Tribute Band pays homage to the iconic Canadian hard rock band, Rush, that formed in 1968.

With songs from albums such as Rush, Fly by Night, Caress of Steel, 2112, A Farewell to Kings, Hemispheres, Grace Under Pressure, Power Windows, Hold Your Fire, Roll The Bones, Counterparts, Vapor Trails, and others, the Ultimate Rush Tribute Band takes fans on a musical odyssey spanning throughout the eras.

With a massive following and a knack for humor, comedian Dustin Sims continues to captivate audiences unapologetically. Originating from Oxford, Alabama, Sims swiftly became a beloved figure, renowned for his comedic sketches that chronicle his eccentric escapades and misadventures.

Among his standout sketches are "Talkin' to Myself," "Wives Love to Be Right," "Best Funeral," and "My Kids Don't Do Mornings."

First Coast Cultural Center showcases Jessica Pinsky's "Textile Creations" from Tuesday, May 21 to Friday, July 5, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. An opening reception, serving refreshments by Dainty Cheesecake Company, will be on May 21 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Influenced by music legends like Peter Tosh and Raekwon of the Wu-Tang Clan, Kabaka Pyramid fuses reggae, rap, and dancehall genres in his music. Beginning his musical journey in Kingston, Jamaica, he started self-recording his music in a home studio before making pivotal collaborations with Bebble Rock in 2007 and Damian Marley in 2013, in Miami.
