St. Johns Cultural Council presents a new exhibit, Fair Winds to Elysium: William Bartram's Travels to East Florida, 1774-1778, beginning on Tuesday, April 16, and continuing through Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

Naturalist William Bartram is recognized for his travels along the St. Johns River in the spring of 1774 when he documented and painted the flora and fauna. His work showcases the animals, plants, and the native people he encountered, as he explored the waterways in this new region.

Considered a prodigy of talents by Alan Harrison from The Rocking Magpie and hailed for his album Cotton Fields and Blood, multi-talented singer and songwriter Abe Partridge creates reflective and emotional lyrics that shake and stir reality.

Touring throughout Europe and the United States with his works featured at the 30A Songwriters Festival, Americana Fest, and others, this artist made appearances with Paul Thorn, Jerry Joseph, Tommy Stinson, John Fullbright, and others.

On Sunday, May 11, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Romanza Festivale invites you to a special Mother's Day event where you can sip wine, listen to jazz, and view the art at ArtBox, 137 King Street in St. Augustine. 

In addition to the curated wine tasting, ArtBox offers you a brush, palette, and canvas to paint a masterpiece. Local jazz band Burn Unit performs their eclectic jazz while you taste wine, peruse the art, and enjoy the music. The ArtBox is a mixed-use destination gallery featuring local artists who work in several mediums.

Sam Morrow, blending roadhouse rock with country and R&B, continues to captivate the music industry. Influenced by icons like Queens of the Stone Age and Freddie King, his songs echo tales of the road-weary traveler.

With albums such as Gettin' By On Gettin' Down and Concrete and Mud, Morrow delves into American Roots Music, infusing it with sonic pulses and energetic chords.

Morrow's discography includes Ephemeral, There Is No Map, and The Ride Here.

Sip N Sew continues Third Space Improv's "Yes, And..." series — creative and/or wellness events that enhance the community's health, happiness, and well being.

In this fiber arts workshop, participants will enjoy a glass of champagne while creating donuts out of various felts. Learn basic stitches and techniques while crafting a plushie to take home.

Instructor, Heather Hagy, is a Flagler College graduate who teaches art at St. Johns County School District—she has become known for her felt creations including an entire Thanksgiving dinner crafted with her students.
